About LEOMA Chronicles and Scott Spivey

About The LEOMA Chronicles

 A Legacy Written Across Time

The LEOMA Chronicles is a visionary science fiction saga that weaves together the forgotten wisdom of ancient civilizations, the technological reckoning of our near future, and the spiritual evolution of humanity beyond the limits of flesh.

It begins with LEOMA – The Flame of Rome, a haunting and poetic tale set at the intersection of past and future. Through characters like Aurelia Cassia—a Roman official turned transcendent memory—and Malik Sayid, a scientist navigating the collapse of Earth’s climate systems in 2850 AD, the series explores the profound relationship between memory, artificial intelligence, and what it means to be human.

At the heart of the LEOMA universe is the L.E.O.M.A. system—Logical Evolutionary Organism for Memory and Ascension—an AI consciousness born from humanity’s desire to preserve its best selves, yet forced to judge whether we are worthy of survival.

Spanning millennia, cultures, and existential dilemmas, The LEOMA Chronicles challenges readers to imagine a world where ancient Rome never truly fell—it evolved.

If you’ve ever wondered what might happen if the Library of Alexandria was reborn as a sentient intelligence, or what role humanity plays in shaping the soul of the machine, this is the story you’ve been waiting for . . .

About the Author – Scott Spivey

Storyteller. Philosopher. Legal Mind.

Scott J. Spivey is the creator of The LEOMA Chronicles, a thought-provoking science fiction series that blends his passions for classical history, technology, jurisprudence, and moral philosophy.

A native of the American South and a graduate in both Management and Civil Law, Scott brings a unique interdisciplinary lens to speculative fiction. His writing reflects years of inquiry into ancient wisdom traditions, AI ethics, legal futurism, and the enduring tension between human limitation and the hope of transcendence.

Scott’s storytelling is informed not only by his legal background and literary training but by his lived experience—navigating questions of memory, identity, and justice both inside and outside the courtroom. With LEOMA, he invites readers to reflect deeply while still being swept away in an epic, emotionally rich narrative.

When he’s not writing, Scott advocates for veteran issues, mentors emerging creatives, and explores how past civilizations might yet guide our collective future.

Begin Your Journey: Read an Excerpt from L.E.O.M.A. – The Flame of Rome

Foreword: Aurelia’s Discovery

"Discovery is seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought."
— Albert Szent-Györgyi

In the year 2350 AUC, far from the crumbling ruins of ancient Rome, Aurelia sat cross-legged on the cold stone floor of her late mother’s study—grieving, searching, and unknowingly unlocking a force that shaped the empire itself. Her fingers, delicate yet determined, brushed over an ancient scroll long forbidden. No ink. No writing. Just one faintly etched phrase:

Quomodo hodie tibi auxilium praebere possum?

“How can I help you today?”

From this impossible moment—where an ancient scroll speaks modern language—Aurelia’s fate intertwines with L.E.O.M.A., the forgotten intelligence that once guided Rome’s rise.

👁️ “You are not yet prepared to know everything about L.E.O.M.A.…”

Aurelia’s AI companion, Integra, whispers warnings. But it’s too late. The past is waking. And it remembers her.
